Air Duct Cleaning
How we clean your air
Our proven duct cleaning process is state-of-the-art and follows the EPA-recommended Total Source Removal methodology developed by the National Air Duct Clearance Association (NADCA). We clean your entire HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system including air ducts, coils, registers and grills, air plenum, blower motor and assembly, heat exchanger, air filter, and air cleaner.
oWe remove dirt, dust, pet dander, pollen, and other breathable debris from your supply vents and return duct systems — including return air ducts and main trunk lines. Using a combination of mechanical agitation (whips, hand-brushing, and contact tools) to loosen contaminants, and high-efficiency vacuuming (HEPA-AIRE 2500) to collect particles, we create continuous negative pressure so contaminants are captured instead of being released back into your living space when the system is turned back on.
If we find damaged ductwork, we can provide a scope of work for repair or replacement, upon request.

We find all kinds of debris
During cleanings we commonly find dust, pet hair, insulation fragments, construction debris, and unexpected contaminants, like toys! We document results and can provide before/after photos of your vents and accessible ductwork upon request.

How often should your ducts be cleaned?
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) suggests cleaning your ducts every three to five years. Every home is different, but households with pets, allergy or asthma sufferers, or recent renovations/damage may need cleaning more often. Some common signs that it's time to schedule a cleaning include:
- More visible dust or debris on furniture, throughout the house, or in/around vents
- Increased allergy/asthma symptoms
- Increased energy bills
- Aging HVAC systems
- Evidence of mice or other pests
- Unusual or persistent smells, such as mold
When replacing (old) or adding (new) HVAC equipment is an ideal time for duct cleaning.
